WfMC Calling for Papers on Dynamic Event-based BI

by MK Strupe on Fri, Feb 19, 2010 @ 02:22 PM
Ultimus is excited that Chris Adams, VP of Product and Technology has submitted an abstract titled "Influencing Business Process Execution through Interactive BI" to the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC). In this abstract Chris introduces the concept of interactive Business Intelligence. While classic BI provides real-time information describing business process effectiveness and efficiency, Chris presents the concept of "Interactive" BI allowing process owners to use that real-time information for continuous and immediate business process optimization.

The WfMC is a global organization of adopters, developers, consultants, analysts, as well as university and research groups engaged in workflow and BPM.  The WfMC creates and contributes to process related standards, educates the market on related issues, and is the only standards organization that concentrates purely on process. WfMC plans to complete their abstract review mid March, stay tuned for more details
