Ultimus and metafinanz have partnered to develop an electronic point-of-care documentation solution for hospitals and other healthcare providers.
Ultimus, the award-winning leader in low-code digital process automation, and metafinanz, one of the largest providers of business and IT consulting to the German market, have partnered to develop and market an electronic point-of-care documentation solution for hospitals and other healthcare providers.
The jointly developed “doc.assist” is a mobile application that assists clinicians in the documentation of clinical information while delivering patient care, thereby maximizing the time they have for patients while also ensuring the complete and accurate capture of required information.
By combining Ultimus’ digital process automation technology and metafinanz’s healthcare domain expertise, doc.assist uniquely solves an important and well-known problem in healthcare delivery – how to efficiently, unobtrusively, and intuitively assign clinical tasks and electronically capture associated task data. Electronic documentation of care and treatment services is an important part of Germany’s €3.0 billion effort to modernize and digitize the nation’s hospital system.
Ultimus President Karl Freiheit commented “metafinanz understands the importance of developing their solution on a process platform and we are pleased that they selected Ultimus as that platform. Hospitals have a powerful financial incentive to adopt doc.assist and, as they do, our Digital Process Automation Suite will create additional value by automating processes that directly and indirectly touch point-of-care”.
