With the new release of Ultimus Adaptive BPM Suite V8.1, Ultimus continues to strengthen its product strategy by leveraging the latest Microsoft technologies available today.  As noted in Dennis Byron's blog, there is a "strong parallel universe of Microsoft Windows business process management (BPM) users." Ultimus has long recognized this expansive Microsoft user base and provides a full suite of collaborative features enabling them to accelerate their business' performance.

Highlights of Microsoft integrations with the Ultimus Adaptive BPM Suite 8.1 include:

  • The use of Microsoft Word and Excel documents as native forms for Ultimus process tasks
  • Out-of-the-box functionality with Microsoft SharePoint enabling business process designers to intuitively integrate Microsoft SharePoint as part of Ultimus processes
  • Ultimus Smart Attachments, which eliminate the artificial boundary between data in attachments and data in forms by allowing for seamless transfer of information from Ultimus processes to underlying Microsoft Word and Excel documents.

Dennis Byron and Michael Dortch are seasoned analysts in the IT industry. In their years of service they have researched and evaluated numerous organizations, solutions, and industry best practices in the BPM space. Ultimus is appreciative to have recently had the opportunity to discuss Ultimus V8.1 with them.  With this review, Ultimus is excited to see that such experts find value in Ultimus' product strategy going forward.
