To support our growth, we are looking for a Software Engineer.

Description:

The successful candidate will understand the Ultimus product and internal software development standards. The candidate will primarily work within the Budapest Development Team closely collaborating with all other product development teams, working on the implementation of functional requirements and use and maintain the existing code.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of software requirements and the dependencies between them
• Developing new web UI elements, behaviors
• Developing back office services
• Modifying existing system components
• Creating unit tests
• Working together with Internal QA during quality cycles
• This job involves working on existing Ultimus product code

Applicant Profile:

Minimum Requirements:

• *European Citizenship or an existing permanent working permit for the European Union is required*
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Mid-level software engineer
• Excellent knowledge in JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other latest web technologies.
• Expertise in .Net technologies, especially in C# and MVC

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of client side frameworks (Angular JS, Knockout JS)
• Knowledge of XML, XSL and XML Schema
• Experience with .NET distributed technologies like XML Web Services, WCF
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL Queries

Personal skills:

• Excellent communication skills are required for this job, so person must be fluent in English
• Excellent debugging and analytical capabilities
• Ability to find, understand and resolve complex problems
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem spotting and fixing capabilities
• The person should be a good team player and should be confident enough to be able to take initiative and work independently as well
