Comprehensive converter for fast and easy transformation of process models into executable processes
Munich, Germany - April, 7th 2009 - Ultimus, Inc., developer of one of the most widely-deployed business process management software suites in the world, with more than 1,900 customers, today announced an easy, powerful and comprehensive converter for companies that are using IDS Scheer’s ARIS toolset and are seeking to transform business process models into executable processes. This provides value in two different ways: investments undertaken in process discovery are being protected and business process initiatives are opened up to a new level of business benefits.
The Ultimus ARIS Module provides users with a graphical interface where ARIS process maps can be opened and are displayed alongside with the recommended transformation of the process flow. The user can identify and change how process steps, flows, rules and other elements of the process map have been interpreted, as well as how the software would recommend transforming them into Ultimus process artifacts. This gives full control to the user during the transformation process and allows for adjustments on the fly. The Ultimus ARIS Module thereby saves the user from switching back and forth between software modules or packages to define the final process.
“Many companies have invested time and money in discovering, defining and optimizing business processes. While these projects typically achieve good results, they leave many performance improvements untapped”, says Karl Freiheit, General Manager, Ultimus EMEA. “Companies, therefore, are looking for ways to leverage their investment in process modeling to transform these models into executable processes. This helps them reduce cost, time and human errors, while simultaneously increasing responsiveness and transparency of the operations.”
The ARIS to Ultimus transformation module uniquely blends software intelligence and user interaction, thus providing companies with a fast, efficient and powerful converter that takes the business models to the next level. The module helps reduce redesign of process maps and automatically converts process artifacts that have previously been left untouched. Results thereby are achieved faster and with less effort than before. The Ultimus ARIS Module is ideally suited for companies that have modeled with IDS Scheer’s ARIS toolset and are thinking about automating their processes with the Ultimus BPM Suite.
