Configuration and Repair Manager is actually two valuable processes. Configuration manages each customer’s product configuration and records serial numbers at the parent and multiple subassembly levels. Optionally, product configurations can be attached to a public or private blockchain for later verification. Validations ensure that proper testing of configurations is performed and that serial numbers are valid and unique. A customer-branded configuration document is automatically generated using process data that can be automatically routed to outside-the-enterprise participants such as customers. When a customer or internal repair request is initiated, Repair Manager updates the customer’s configuration and the serial numbers of replaced parts.
This solution can be integrated with quotation and warranty DPA Solution Starters to create an integrated quote, configure, and repair solution that allows customers to initiate and/or participate in these processes.
