Pfizer Taiwan Automates HR Processes with Ultimus BPM Suite

Now, being used by employees at Pfizer’s offices in Taipei, the software enables the company to process and track vacation and overtime requests more efficiently.

The Ultimus BPM Suite streamlined processes relating to vacation requests and overtime authorization for the company’s Taiwanese office. Previously, these processes were followed by paper work which in some cases contained human errors, plus users were not being notified of the process status. Ultimus replaced the company’s paper-based systems and a routing engine was implemented by integrating the Ultimus standard client on a custom developed portal.
Now, Pfizer’s 450 employees in Taiwan simply submit a request through the company portal. Built-in controls simplify the process of completing forms and verifying data. Each request is automatically assigned to an agent. Monthly overtime and vacation reports are generated automatically each month and sent to supervisors via email.
