Ultimus Expands Management Team in China |
Twelve Year Industry Veteran to Lead Chinese Operations in the APAC Region |
Hong Kong — March 27, 2007 — Ultimus, the #1 provider of Business Process Management (BPM) and workflow software and solutions with more than 1,600 customers worldwide, today announced that it has hired Vincent Yeung, former engagement manager for Sun Microsystems’ Client Solution Organization in Hong Kong, as its new country manager for Ultimus China. Yeung’s combined business acumen, engineering background, professional service expertise and understanding of the fast growing China market will serve Ultimus well as it expands its global presence.
Mr. Yeung brings more than twelve years of experience in the greater China IT industry, holding senior positions in sales, marketing, and operations in startups as well as multinational corporations such as Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems. While at Sun Microsystems, he successfully designed and implemented the Sun China CSO partner model; recruited, trained, certified and engaged solution and delivery partners; and successfully implemented the Java Center of Excellence program and Sun Partner Development Center in China, enhancing the competitiveness of the company.
As the general manager of Channel Sales for Hewlett-Packard Service in China, Yeung built a Chinese channel sales team from scratch, and achieved annual sales revenues of $48 million.
