Gartner Research VP Janelle Hill Presenting at Ultimus Americas User Conference and Partner Forum

CARY, NC (October 7, 2008) — Ultimus, Inc., developer of one of the most widely-deployed business process management software suites in the world, announces that Gartner Research VP Janelle Hill will join its 2008 Americas User Conference and Partner Forum as a featured speaker. She is scheduled to discuss how to build a business process competency center, or BPCC, with conference attendees on Wednesday, October 22nd. Hill’s presentation will focus on models for organizational structure and how to harness its capabilities as your BPM journey matures.

 

For the past 25 years, Janelle Hill has held various technical and management roles related to software infrastructure technologies and architectures in both user and vendor organizations. Her experience gives her a unique ability to communicate the business value of complex technologies and concepts. In addition to researching the BPM market, Janelle is the content owner for Gartner’s Leaders in Business Process Improvement role-based research portal. In this capacity, she manages the quality, thought-leadership, and completeness (breadth and depth) of Gartner’s research on business process management to insure it meets the needs of Gartner’s customers.

Prior to rejoining Gartner in 2005, Ms. Hill led MetaGroup’s BPM research agenda. Subsequently, Ms. Hill lead the integration of METAGroup’s Research, Customer Service, Editing and Administration personnel into Gartner. Ms. Hill’s career includes management and technical roles at Vitria, MCI, IBM, Select Magazines and Standard Motor Products.

Scheduled for October 22nd – 24th in San Antonio, Texas, the conference will be focused on unleashing the power and possibilities within the realm of business process management. Ultimus expects to draw over 200 attendees who will hear special presentations from end users, partners, industry experts, BPM specialists, and the Ultimus team.

In addition, Ultimus boardroom presentations will be comprised of two parallel tracks, Business and Solutions.
