Shahid Osmani

Practice Head, Process Improvement & Management

Shahid Osmani is a SAP Certified and Six Sigma Green Belt consultant. He has extensive experience of implementing complex ERP systems across manufacturing and retail industries. During the past 21 years he has worked in various capacities of the Information Technology industry; as a Business Process Re-engineering / Improvement (BPR / BPI) and Business Process Management (BPM) specialist, a Senior Project Manager, an MIS Manager and a Financial Analyst. Shahid Osmani is specialized in ERP implementation and Business Process Management roundtrip methodology development. He is now Practice Head of Process Improvement & Management at Dubai World, a holding company that operates a highly diversified spectrum of industrial segments and plays a major role in the emirate's rapid economic growth. Dubai World's investment spans four strategic growth areas of 21st Century commerce namely, Transport & Logistics, Drydocks & Maritime, Urban Development and Investment & Financial Services.


Connie Moore

Vice President, Research Director

Connie is a vice president and research director, concentrating on business process management (BPM) and workflow software, information and knowledge management, and all aspects of enterprise content management (ECM). This includes Web content management, document management, and knowledge management. Connie came to Forrester through its acquisition of Giga Information Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry and had been with Giga since it began in 1995. Prior to joining Giga, Connie worked with BIS Strategic Decisions' European IT Consulting Group, TDC (now part of BancTec), a manufacturer of high-end document capture systems, Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Connie has chaired 10 Business Process and Workflow conferences in Europe and the United States during the past six years, was co-chair of the Leveraging Knowledge conference, and has served as a director of AIIM International, the premier association for the document management industry. She has also been the lead judge in Giga's Excellence Award program for document management, workflow, and knowledge management, and she has contributed chapters to several of the Excellence in Practice books on workflow software implementations. Connie holds a B.A. in political science and history from East Carolina University and an M.B.A. in information systems from George Washington University.


Rashid Khan

Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer

Rashid Khan leveraged his entrepreneurial prowess to build Ultimus into a successful global enterprise. In 1983, without any outside capital, Khan founded SINTECH, Inc., a start-up that pioneered the use of application software for mechanical testing automation. After a successful run in which he turned the company into an industry leader, he sold SINTECH, Inc. to MTS Systems Corporation. In 1994, Khan founded Ultimus, providing the start-up finances on his own to allow the company to pursue a long-term vision unencumbered by short-term financial objectives. Currently, Ultimus employs 320 people in 16 offices across the globe. Khan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Masters in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S. in Computer Science from M.I.T.
